France offers numerous holiday parks for tourists. These campgrounds are surprisingly inexpensive and also comfortable. A holiday in France would probably be made more interesting if one ventures into an adventure such as camping, or even just on a self catering holiday!.

The location of these campgrounds are ideal as they are conveniently located close to motorways, river/streams, public transport, a wooded area, etc. They also allow campers to pay through their credit cards.
Tents, carvans, motorhomes are allowed in the area. If you are not big on any of these temporary shelters, then you will be happy to know that in Paris-Est le Tremblay, static caravans, log cabins and bungalows are available for rent.
Shopping outlets are nearby within 1 to 3 kms. from the campsite. In Bois de Bologne, you don’t need to go far. One can actually purchase fresh bread, groceries, take-away meals, etc. within the camping grounds. Snack bars, pizzeria, bars and restaurants are all found there. Children’s playground, table tennies tables and other sports facilities are also found in Bois de Bologne.
In both campsites, internet access, electrical hook-ups, secured grounds, payphone and cardphone, barbecue grills are provided for added entertainment. Camping grounds are safe and quiet at nights. These holiday parks and relaxing camping grounds certainly make France a home away from home for the tourists and locals alike.
