The Palm Beach County School District is fast becoming a trend setter in terms of adopting new techniques to propagate better education. Their mission is “commitment to excellence in education and preparation of students with knowledge skills and ethics required for responsible citizenship and productive employment”.

Use of personal computers and Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional to establish communication links with everyone working with the Palm Beach County School District has been undertaken. This is to allow teachers, Principals and professors to have ongoing education, live meetings and interactive sessions online without having to stir from their posts and to bring members of the community and business leaders together to make growth proposals more efficient and effective.

The Palm Beach Jewelry show is being held every February since 2004 in Palm Beach. The event attracts thousands of jewelry enthusiasts not only from the US but from across the world. More than 50,000 flock to this 5 day event, registering sales of jewelry and art pieces worth around $200 million! The show was mooted by some young jewellers based in Palm Beach, Kris R. Charamonde, Scott Diament and Rob Samuels. It has become one of the biggest shows to pull jewelry and art collectors from different countries. All the hotels are booked out in advance and the flights to Palm Beach are completely booked during the event. The traffic in and around the Convention Centre where the event is held becomes very heavy and quite a challenge to the town’s traffic personnel.
