New York City is the most crowded city in USA and also the major urban area in the world. This city was founded for commercial trading by Dutch in the year 1625. New York City was the capital of United States of America from 1785 to 1790. New York makes use of international power in education, media, politics, entertainment, arts, fashion and advertising. New York City contains five major districts: Brooklyn, The Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. New York City is heavily populated having more than 8.2 million in the area of 304.8 square miles. The official name New York City is City of New York. New York is place visited by more than 40 million people every year. There are important places to visit and the food culture of this city is completely enjoyable and impressive.

World Trade Center is famous for Twin Towers which was destroyed by the terrorists on September 11, 2001. It was a complex of 7 buildings situated in Lower Manhattan. The towers are in different heights, first one is 417 meters and the second one is 415 meters. The first one was built in 1972 and the next one is after one year. Even though the building is not there; the ranking of WTC is still in top 10 of the highest buildings in the world.
Wall Street
Wall Street is frequently connected with the prosperity and aim of America and also recognized as the New York’s financial district. Dutch purchased “New Amsterdam” from Native Americans and they raised the wall to form a new colony for the northern boundary. Initially the fences were with wood, so always there will be a quarrel to defend the colony between American Indian tribes and British. This is how the Wall Street got this name. In the 18th century the British itself removed the wall.
Central Park
Central Park is one of the Major locations in New York which makes the City lovable. The area of this Central park is 843 acres. It is one of the biggest areas situated in center of Manhattan. This park consists of many lakes, ice rinks, tennis courts, fountains, theatres, baseball fields, playgrounds and other facilities.
Grand Central Terminal
This transportation hub becomes a grand Central in 1913 after the Renovation. There are many shops and restaurants where you can get all international cuisines. There will be a free tour for groups and individuals on Wednesdays and Fridays.
