Beijing is the capital of People’s Republic of China, and also known as Peking in English. Beijing is the largest city next to Shanghai. Summer Palace

The Temple Of Heaven
This is one of the sacred Imperial temples in Beijing. The Emperor visits the temple regularly in the winter to worship and pray for good yield. People believe that the bad yield will intimidate the solidity if his reign. So the Emperor will come and pray passionately for good yield.
Badaling Great Wall
This is situated 70 kilometers northwest from the center of the City. It is situated 1000 meters above the sea level. Badaling is the best-protected area of the Great Wall. This wall is having a proud of many important foreign leaders and important persons climbed consecutively.
The Yonghegong Lama temple
This temple is located at the northwest corner of the city. This was originally used as an official residence of the Ming Dynasty, and it was converted as a royal court of Prince Yongzheng in 1693. In the 3rd year of Yongzheng’s restraint it was eminent to imperial palace and changed the name as Yonghe Palace in 1725. In 1477 it was changed as Lama temple from the 9th year of Emperor Quian Long.
Forbidden City
This is also known as The Majestic Forbidden City. This is a home of 24 emperors from Ming and Qing Dynasty. This Forbidden City is situated precisely in the heart of the Beijing City. The construction of this palace was started in the period of Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty in 1406, and the work finished in 1420.
Hutong

Beihai Park

Ming Tombs
You can visit these tombs while you visit great wall. This is also known as “13 Tombs”. This is the burial place of 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty out of 17 from the period of 1368 to 1644. Because of its long history, these tombs have a high cultural and historical value.
Beijing Zoo
This is situated near the Beijing Exhibition Center. This zoo included well-maintained flower gardens with natural scenery, trees, grasslands, small streams, lotus pools and small hills.
The Diary of Marco Polo
This is a Bridge, situated 15 kilometers southwest Beijing. It is also called as Guangli Bridge. According to historical reports, the Lugou River is also called as Heishui River (Black Water River). In the local language accident means Black, so this river is called as Black water River, because most of the accidents occurred here.
